COMBATWEAR FACTORY / BJJ GI MANUFACTURING

BJJ Gi Manufacturer for Brands, Academies & Wholesale Buyers

Develop a BJJ gi as a documented product, not a generic blank with a logo. Confirm the jacket, trousers, fit, size grading, branding and sample checks before bulk production.

Combatwear Factory manufactures BJJ gis to customer specification in Sialkot, Pakistan, for apparel brands, academies, retailers and distributors. Jackets and trousers are cut from 100% cotton in pearl weave, gold weave, single weave, double weave or ripstop weave, with custom embroidery, sublimated linings, woven patches and private labeling. The minimum is 30 pieces per design and colorway, sizes mixable. Samples take 7-10 working days and bulk production takes 20-30 working days after you approve the sample.

What US B2B buyers should see before requesting a quote

Keep the commercial facts easy to verify: minimum order, sample timing, bulk lead time, accepted size mix, branding methods, packaging and delivery basis should be confirmed for the actual order rather than hidden behind a generic “contact us” message.

For material decisions, identify the weave, target GSM or hand-feel, trouser fabric, reinforcement areas and wash expectations. The approved sample should become the production reference for measurements, artwork and construction.

Start with the wearer and the use

An academy training gi, a retail collection and a tournament-focused uniform can begin with different priorities. Tell us who will wear the gi, how it will be used and which fit problems you want to solve. That gives the discussion more direction than choosing a fabric weight in isolation.

For repeat orders, share the reference garment or approved measurement sheet. If this is a new product, identify the intended size range, preferred fit and design references. Keep adult, women’s and youth requirements separate where their patterns differ.

Specify the jacket and trousers separately

Record the jacket weave, target fabric weight, collar build, sleeve dimensions, skirt length and reinforcement areas. For trousers, record the fabric reference, rise, inseam, waistband and knee construction. A clear brief identifies what belongs to each component.

Fabric weight does not establish the finished garment weight, durability or shrinkage on its own. Ask how the proposed material will be evaluated, and compare a physical sample against the intended use.

Make the branding part of the construction

Plan embroidery, patches, labels and inside finishing alongside the garment pattern. Send usable logo files and indicate placement and dimensions. Artwork that looks right on a flat mockup still needs to be checked on the actual size and seam layout.

If a gi is intended for a particular competition, compare the design with that organizer’s current uniform requirements. A product description or manufacturer claim does not replace the event’s inspection.

Approve a reference before committing to bulk

Define the sample checks in writing: measurements, comfort, construction, artwork, color and wash response. Keep a record of requested corrections and the approved version. Confirm which measurements are taken before and after washing.

Ask for the quote’s quantity basis, size mix, packaging, shipping basis, sample terms and timeline. This makes competing offers easier to compare without assuming that all quotes include the same work.

Supplier or manufacturer: what you are buying

Many BJJ gi suppliers resell stock or pass orders to another factory. Your gis are made in our own factory in Sialkot, which has 100+ production staff and 500 machines, so the people answering your questions are the people making your order.

Every order is checked for fabric, GSM and weight, sizing and measurements, stitching and construction, print and embroidery, and a final inspection.

How a US order runs

Send your specification and artwork; we reply within one business day. You approve a physical sample (7–10 working days; the fee is typically USD 100–200 and is credited against your bulk order).

Bulk production takes 20–30 working days after sample approval. Payment is 100% in advance with order confirmation, by Western Union, PayPal or Alibaba. We ship DDP by DHL, FedEx or UPS, typically 5–7 days from dispatch.

Which BJJ gi page fits your order?

This page covers BJJ gi manufacturing as a whole: weave, construction, QC and how an order runs. If your project is narrower, these pages go deeper:

  • Custom BJJ gis – design your own jiu jitsu gi: pattern changes, artwork placement and a free digital mockup before the sample.
  • Wholesale BJJ gis – bulk orders for retailers and distributors: order matrix, size split and reorders.
  • Private label BJJ gear – launching a brand across gis, rash guards, shorts and patches with your labels and packaging.
  • Kids BJJ gis and women’s BJJ gis – separate patterns and grading for youth and women’s fits.
  • Academy uniform programs – club gis, belts and patches with annual reorders.

Before you send a brief, the BJJ gi weave guide explains pearl vs gold weave, and the guide to choosing a BJJ gi manufacturer gives you a supplier scorecard.

BJJ gi: frequently asked questions

Can I develop a gi with my own branding?

Send your logo files, placement plan and label requirements with the inquiry. Available branding methods and the final construction are agreed for the project.

Is there a universal BJJ gi size chart?

No single label system guarantees the same fit across brands. Use actual garment measurements and a reference fit, then review a sample.

Do your gis have IBJJF approval?

We do not claim blanket IBJJF approval. Identify the event and current uniform requirements, then assess the proposed sample against them.

Are you a BJJ gi supplier or a manufacturer?

A manufacturer. Gis are produced in our own factory in Sialkot, Pakistan, established in 2019.

Do you ship BJJ gis to the United States?

Yes. Orders ship DDP by DHL, FedEx or UPS, so export documents, freight and import duty to your address are arranged by us. Transit is typically 5–7 days from dispatch.

What is the minimum order for a custom BJJ gi?

The minimum order is 30 pieces per design and colorway, and sizes can be mixed freely inside that minimum. Belts and patches have a minimum of 100 pieces per design.

How long does BJJ gi sampling and production take?

Samples take 7-10 working days. The sample fee is typically USD 100-200 per sample depending on the product and specification, and is credited against your bulk order. Bulk production takes 20-30 working days from the date you approve the sample.

Which BJJ gi weaves do you produce?

We produce Pearl Weave, Gold Weave, Single Weave, Double Weave and Ripstop. All of them run on the same minimum per design, and you can request a swatch set with your quote if you are not sure which to specify.

What should I send for a BJJ gi quote?

Send the product, the quantity, your size split, a fabric or weave preference, your artwork in the highest resolution you have, and a target delivery date. Nothing needs to be final — a product and a rough number is enough to quote against.
