Women’s BJJ Gi Manufacturer — Female-Cut Patterns & Grading
A women’s gi brief needs more than a different size label. Define the proportions your audience needs and the measurements that will guide the sample review.

We manufacture women’s BJJ gis on female-cut patterns with their own grading, in the same 100% cotton weaves as our standard gi range, with your branding, labeling and packaging. The minimum is 30 pieces per design and colorway, sizes mixable. Samples take 7-10 working days and bulk production takes 20-30 working days after you approve the sample.
Begin with the fit problem
Identify where the current reference works and where it does not: shoulder movement, jacket overlap, torso length, hip room or trouser rise. Keep these observations connected to measurable points on the garment.
There is no single fit that suits every woman. Describe your target audience, intended size range and fit preference. Distinguish a fitted retail silhouette from the practical room needed for grappling movements.
Evaluate the jacket and trousers together
A useful fitting review checks the jacket’s coverage and the trousers’ movement as a set. Record the waistband, rise, hip, thigh and inseam measurements as well as the jacket dimensions. Note the measurement method and garment condition.
If mixed jacket and trouser sizes are part of the proposed retail offer, include the ordering and labeling implications. Confirm whether that arrangement is workable for the intended production run.
Use size-specific sample feedback
Select a reference size and identify where additional fit checks are needed across the range. Ask wearers to describe restrictions or excess fabric using specific locations. General feedback such as “too large” is less useful than a defined measurement or movement issue.
After any fit adjustment, recheck the artwork positions and overlap. Pattern changes can affect a logo’s location or the appearance of a patch even when the design file is unchanged.
Build the commercial brief around the size plan
Provide quantities by size, color and style along with the branding requirements. Specify the product labels and any fit information your customers will receive. Keep care and wash-review expectations consistent with the approved sample.
The product photographs are general style references, not proof of a tested women-specific pattern. Final patterns, specifications, minimums and sample terms must be agreed for your project.

Women’s BJJ gi: frequently asked questions
Is a women’s gi just a smaller unisex gi?
Not necessarily. Proportion changes may be needed. Build the brief from the intended wearers and actual measurement requirements.
Can I request separate jacket and trouser sizes?
Include this in the order plan. Feasibility, labeling, packing and minimums must be confirmed for the project.
How should the sample be reviewed?
Check movement, coverage and measurements on intended wearers, record corrections and repeat the relevant checks after any pattern change.
Do you manufacture female-cut BJJ gi patterns?
Yes. Women’s gis are produced on their own patterns and grading rather than as a resized unisex gi. Send your measurement chart or ask us to quote against ours.
What is the minimum for a women’s BJJ gi order?
The minimum order is 30 pieces per design and colorway, and sizes can be mixed freely inside that minimum. Belts and patches have a minimum of 100 pieces per design.
