Custom BJJ Gi Manufacturing to Your Fit, Fabric & Branding
Move from a visual idea to a usable garment specification. Define what is custom about your gi: the pattern, the material, the branding—or all three.

We manufacture custom BJJ gis to your own fit, fabric and branding: your measurement chart, your choice of pearl weave, gold weave, single weave, double weave or ripstop weave, collar filler, reinforcement, sublimated lining, embroidery and woven labeling. The minimum is 30 pieces per design and colorway, sizes mixable. Samples take 7-10 working days and bulk production takes 20-30 working days after you approve the sample.
Separate pattern changes from branding changes
Adding a logo and developing a different fit are not the same task. List changes to the jacket and trousers separately: sleeve proportions, body length, rise, leg shape or waistband. Then describe embroidery, patches and labels in their own part of the brief.
This separation helps make the sampling scope clear. It also gives you a practical record of which changes are essential and which could be adjusted if materials or construction options differ.
Use a reference that explains your priorities
A reference garment can show the fit you want to keep and the details you want to change. Mark the measurement points and note whether the garment has already been washed. If starting from images, describe the unseen construction instead of assuming it can be inferred.
Decide which size will be sampled and how the remaining sizes will be reviewed. One approved size does not automatically confirm every proportion throughout a graded range.
Review artwork on the actual pattern
Map logos and inside details to the garment panels. Give exact text and artwork dimensions, and identify whether embroidery, patches or labels are requested. Check placement for small sizes as well as the sample size.
Retain a versioned approval file. If a color, spelling or placement changes during development, make the update visible to everyone reviewing the order.
Turn approval into a repeatable reference
Before bulk production, agree which sample and specification are final. Record acceptable measurement tolerances, care-review expectations and how packaging will be marked. A retained reference is especially useful when planning a reorder.
Ask for minimums, sample costs and timing for this custom scope. A standard design’s price or lead time should not be carried over without confirmation.
Design your own gi in five steps
1. Send a brief: artwork, a reference gi or photos, your size range and quantity. 2. Choose the weave and colors; the exact fabric weight is confirmed in your quotation.
3. Place your branding: embroidery, patches and woven labels. We send a free digital mockup first, so you can check the layout. 4. Approve a physical sample (7–10 working days; the fee is typically USD 100–200 and is credited against bulk). 5. Bulk production takes 20–30 working days, then DDP delivery.

Custom BJJ gi: frequently asked questions
Can I change the fit as well as the logo?
Describe the desired measurement and pattern changes in the inquiry. The team must review feasibility, sample scope and commercial terms.
Do I need a complete technical pack?
You can start with a clear reference and change list. Final production still needs agreed measurements, materials, artwork and approval criteria.
Does custom made mean a single garment?
Not necessarily. This is a manufacturing inquiry, and order minimums depend on the specific development scope. Ask before planning an individual order.
Do you send a mockup before the sample?
Yes. We send a free digital mockup of your design so you can check placement, colors and labels before the physical sample is made.
What can be customized on a BJJ gi?
Cut and measurements, weave, collar filler, reinforcement pattern, sublimated lapel and lining prints, contrast stitching, embroidery, woven patches, neck and size labels, hang tags and packaging.
What is the minimum for a custom BJJ gi?
The minimum order is 30 pieces per design and colorway, and sizes can be mixed freely inside that minimum. Belts and patches have a minimum of 100 pieces per design.
How long does a custom gi take from brief to delivery?
Samples take 7-10 working days. The sample fee is typically USD 100-200 per sample depending on the product and specification, and is credited against your bulk order. Bulk production takes 20-30 working days from the date you approve the sample.
