COMBATWEAR FACTORY / BOXING ROBES

Custom Boxing Robes for Brands, Gyms and Fighters

A robe is worn for four minutes and photographed for years. It is the most visible thing a fighter wears, and the one item a brand should not leave to a stock catalog.

Combatwear Factory manufactures custom boxing robes for fighters, teams and brands. Buyers define length, hood/open style, fabric, lining if required, trim, lettering, embroidery or print, labels and packing; the approved sample sets the bulk production reference.

Decide the silhouette

Length, sleeve, and hooded or open collar are the first three decisions, and they change the pattern rather than the finish. Send a reference robe or an image of the look you are after.

Say whether the robe is for a single fighter, a gym's competition squad or a retail range — a one-off walkout piece and a stocked range are specified differently.

Fabric, lining and trim

Satin is the traditional choice and photographs the way people expect a robe to look. A performance base behaves differently under lights and in weight.

Describe the drape and the finish you want, whether the robe is lined, and how the trim should read against the body color. We advise on fabric to support that and lock it on the sample.

Lettering, artwork and embroidery

Most robes carry a name across the back, sponsor marks on the chest and trim down the front. Send the artwork with the wording, the placements and any sponsor files at full resolution.

Tell us which elements are embroidered and which are printed — the two sit differently on satin, and the decision affects both the look and the lead time.

Matching the rest of the kit

A robe is almost never ordered alone. If it is going out with trunks, gloves or a team range, send those together so one color reference runs across the whole kit.

Labels, hang tags, garment bags and packing are specified once and applied across the set.

Boxing robe: frequently asked questions

Can you make a robe with a fighter's name on the back?

Yes. Send the wording and the placement, and tell us whether it should be embroidered or printed — the two read very differently on satin.

Do you make hooded robes?

Yes. Hooded or open collar is a pattern decision, so confirm it at the brief stage rather than after the first sample.

Can the robe match our trunks?

Yes, and it is worth doing. Send one color reference for the whole kit and the robe and trunks are developed against it together.

Can you make a single robe for one fighter?

Tell us the quantity in your inquiry. A one-off walkout piece and a stocked retail range are quoted differently.
