The buyer defines weight, padding feel, wrist support, closure, outer material, lining and branding; the physical sample is tested and approved before bulk production. The confirmed glove minimum is 20 pairs for the order as a whole; samples take 7 working days and bulk production takes 20 working days after approval.
Specification points to lock before a glove sample
For sparring gloves, confirm intended use, target weight/feel, outer material preference, closure, wrist length, hand compartment, thumb construction and padding behaviour. A reference pair is especially useful because glove fit and balance are difficult to define from marketing terms alone.
Confirm logo method and position, lining, labels, pair packaging and any retail box requirements. The physical sample should be checked for symmetry, closure alignment, hand fit, stitching, branding and the agreed feel before bulk production.
Why sparring gloves are specified differently
Bag gloves protect the wearer. Sparring gloves protect the training partner too, which usually means more padding spread across a wider surface rather than concentrated over the knuckle.
Tell us how your gyms spar and at what level. A glove for a beginners' class and a glove for a professional camp are not the same specification, even at the same weight.
Weight and padding
Say which weights your range needs and how the padding should feel — firm and protective, or softer with more give. Send a reference pair where you can; feel is the hardest thing to describe in writing.
Padding behaviour is confirmed on the sample, in the hand, before anything goes into bulk.
Fit, closure and durability
Gym gloves are put on and taken off several times a day by different people. Closure, wrist length and the strap pattern all affect how long that lasts, so tell us whether the gloves are for a single owner or shared gym stock.
Where gloves are for shared use, say so in the brief — it changes what we recommend for the lining and the stitching.
Branding for gyms and teams
Gym and academy gloves usually carry a logo, sometimes a member's name, and often a colorway tied to the club. Send the artwork, the placements and any name list with your inquiry.
